The funding will enable the organisation to provide weekly arts and wellbeing workshops to improve the mental health of three groups of beneficiaries in Derby- young people older isolated people and the bereaved. Artcore is a well established BAME-led arts organisation operating in Derby wards with a high BAME population. They began their work in Derby in 2009 supporting local communities using art as a catalyst to provide opportunities to improve health and well-being education and learning and community cohesion.
