    ME North East is the Voice for ME in the North East region. We support people with ME/CFS their families and carers to manage their condition, and to empower them to make informed choices. We enable them to access statutory and voluntary services to achieve the best quality of health and well-being.

National Lottery Heritage Fund This is the continuation and development of a project for adults with severe ME/CFS in Northumberland, Tyne and Wear, Teesside, North Cumbria, County Durham and Darlington. The project aims to continue to bring together a range of services to enable each person to better manage their condition, improve their wellbeing and reduce the often significant stress and mental health issues caused by ME/CFS.

Objectives

TO RELIEVE THE SUFFERING OF THOSE AFFECTED BY MYALGIC ENCEPHALOMYELITIS/CHRONIC FATIGUE SYNDROME, AND TO ADVANCE RESEARCH IN THE CAUSE AND CURE OF THE DISEASE AND TO PUBLISH THE RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH.
