THE PAROCHIAL CHURCH COUNCIL OF THE ECCLESIASTICAL PARISH OF CASTLE BROMWICH

In addition to our Church services, we hold regular events in our Community Hall to which all are welcome. These include drop-in coffee, tea and chat mornings, monthly soup & roll lunch, a Mothers Union led friendship group, a luncheon club for the less able in the parish, a bereavement support group and a Baby & me support group. Please visit our website for more detailed information.
Analysis by Giving is Great

Positives:

  • This charity has been successful in attracting volunteers relative to its size
  • The charity has received modest backing from a grant maker recently
  • The Board appears to be dynamic in terms of composition

Regulatory & Governance issues to consider:

  • This charity does not have a Conflict of Interests policy
  • One or more trustees receive payments or benefits from the charity for providing services to the charity
  • Why are there 13 trustees whereas the Charities Commission recommends a maximum of 12?
  • The Board is predominantly female

Financial issues to consider:

  • Income has been volatile recently but spending has been maintained
  • A PartB annual return has not been required and so detailed financial information is not available from the online data
