Over 18 months the project will engage with 300 people residing in Oldbury Smethwick and West Bromwich. Participants will be identified through agency referrals. The project aims to tackle health inequalities supporting people residing in Sandwell to stay healthier for longer and will be open to communities of Oldbury Smethwick and West Bromwich. It will create a minimum of five volunteer roles to input into and facilitate weekly workshops promoting healthy eating and physically activity. It is anticipated this will go on to become an accredited course providing a basic level qualification on completion.
