We provide a range of services to older people and influencing activities including: Advice & Information - both office based and outreach, Healthy Lifestyle activities including exercise and IT, Footcare service, Day Care, Befriending & Phonelink service. We also raise funds through our charity shop.

The organisation’s main objectives are to support older people through the prevention of poverty advancing education relieving poor health promoting equality and diversity and promoting their human rights and inclusion. To do this AGE UK BwD (AUBD) provides a range of services and activities for people over 50 with a focus on promoting independence. These are an Advice and Information Service Community Day Care Service Health and Wellbeing Service which includes Befriending an Active Ageing physical activity programme an Social Inclusion activity programme Digital inclusion service Nailcare service a Here to Help Integrated Care service and Stepping Out (social integration post-covid). AUBD also offers Maintenance Cognitive Stimulation Therapy through its Memory Makers programme. They also raise funds through its own charity shop. In 2021 AUBD supported 3141 people and assisted in securing £1026339 additional income.
