THE GODIVA AWAKES TRUST

To create new and extraordinary large scale, site specific outdoor work at the intersection of art and engineering which engages a diverse audience, achieves creative excellence and lasts in the memory forever, via our Bridge project and Festival of Imagineers. Underpinned by a programme of education and training work, the Imagineerium and Transformations projects, in our Coventry Creation Centre
Analysis by Giving is Great

Positives:

  • There has been strong growth in spending over the last 5 years
  • A significant proportion of recent income was derived from major grant makers including the Government
  • The Board appears to be well diversified in terms of gender and dynamic in terms of composition

Regulatory & Governance issues to consider:

  • Although this charity works with volunteers it does not have a Volunteer Management policy

Financial issues to consider:

  • Liquidity appears to have been slender at the latest year end
  • Income has been volatile recently and was significantly lower than spending in the latest year
