Youth Almighty Project (YAP) is a vibrant, well attended youth project set up by local people in 2005 to serve the needs of young people living in Silksworth, in Sunderland.This grant is to enable YAP to continue to deliver their Positive Experiences Employment Programme. YAP have good working relationships with employers in the area who are keen to support this project. Intensive support is provided to those employers who provide work experience opportunities for any young people to ensure they see this as a positive experience and in the hope they may offer future employment opportunities.
