THE INVOLVE FOUNDATION

Since Involve was founded in 2003 we have worked closely with public organisations at a local, national and international level to transform how they engage with citizens. Our work seeks to create new innovations, new institutions and new norms of democracy. We do this by developing world-class participatory and deliberative processes, and by setting the agenda and building coalitions.
Analysis by Giving is Great

Positives:

  • There has been strong growth in spending over the last 5 years
  • There have been no material income shortfalls in recent years
  • Fundraising costs are unusually low relative to funds raised
  • A significant proportion of recent income was derived from major grant makers including the Government
  • The Board appears to be well diversified in terms of age and dynamic in terms of composition

Financial issues to consider:

  • Unrestricted reserves appear to be dangerously low at the latest year end
Established: 15 years
(18 years as a company)
