This funding will be used to develop a community arts project with residents using the Eurovision Song Contest as a tool for celebrating creativity and diversity. Running from May–July it will commission a North-west based artist/s with a strong track record to partner with in the development of Summer Vision (SV). Starting as a public Eurovision watch party it will develop into a series of creative workshops (including dance music e.g. singing and creating some visual arts). There will be 3-4 hour weekly workshops that will run over a number of weeks; culminating in a live performance by its participants at the groups SV Festival on 24th June.
