INSPIRE MIDDLETON

Our overall aim is inspiring people, places and organisations within Middleton, seeking to support and release their potential thus contributing towards building a better place to live, work and visit. We also seek to challenge a prevailing negative attitude towards the town and change this through positive actions, motivation & encouragement.
Analysis by Giving is Great

Positives:

  • Spending has increased over the last 3 years relative to the previous period
  • A significant proportion of recent income was derived from major grant makers including the Government and there are significant future grants due to be received
  • The Board appears to be well diversified in terms of gender

Regulatory & Governance issues to consider:

  • One or more trustees receive benefits from the charity
  • The Board composition appears to be rather static and has little diversity in terms of age

Financial issues to consider:

  • Income has been volatile recently and was significantly lower than spending in the latest year
  • A PartB annual return has not been required and so detailed financial information is not available from the online data
