Our overall aim is inspiring people, places and organisations within Middleton, seeking to support and release their potential thus contributing towards building a better place to live, work and visit. Inspire Middleton (IM) was set up to promote community development helping to inspire the community and make Middleton a better place to live work and visit. The funding will support core staff and facility costs for TLP so that they can continue to provide and extend the offering of a community toolbox targeting 50 actions interventions services and activities for residents of Middleton. The activities are based around community cohesion health and wellbeing with a specific focus on mental health unemployment life and work-based skills. Example of the activities include support groups art and craft or music groups specific gender groups digital skills job hunting and CV writing. The centre also provides money advice and debt services and a food bank and pantry.
