    Resolve is charitable trust whose principal aim is the support, treatment and rehabilitation of people who suffer from substance problems based in North & East Hertfordshire. Resolve aims to assist people from the misuse of alcohol and drugs into a manageable positive life style, contributing to the communities within which they live.

There will be a range of services including family and carer groups and counselling to help people understand and better cope with addiction. There will be practical support with housing, finance and health, complementary therapies and signposting to other services and activities to improve physical health.

THE TRUSTEES MUST APPLY THE INCOME OF THE CHARITY IN FURTHERING THE FOLLOWING OBJECTS ("THE OBJECTS") 1) THE RELIEF OF POVERTY, SICKNESS AND DISTRESS OF PEOPLE IN HERTFORDSHIRE, WHO ARE AFFECTED BY OR DEPENDENT ON DRUGS AND ALCOHOL IN HERTFORDSHIRE. 2) THE PRESERVATION AND PROTECTION OF THE GOOD HEALTH OF PERSONS IN HERTFORDSHIRE WHO ARE IN DANGER OF BECOMING ADDICTED TO, OR DEPENDENT ON, OR WHO HAVE ALREADY BECOME ADDICTED TO OR DEPENDENT ON DRUGS OR ALCOHOL.
