Objectives

THE CHARITY'S OBJECT IS TO RELIEVE THE NEED OR DISABILITY OF PERSONS, PARTICULARLY THOSE SUFFERING IMPAIRMENT OF THEIR LEARNING ABILITIES. THIS OBJECT WILL BE ACHIEVED BY THE FOLLOWING MEANS: 1. ASSISTING SUCH PERSONS, IN PARTICULAR THOSE WITH LEARNING DISABILITIES, TO OBTAIN FULL RIGHTS AND PRIVILEGES AS CITIZENS; 2. PROMOTING SOCIAL INCLUSION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY PREVENTING SUCH PEOPLE FROM BECOMING SOCIALLY EXCLUDED AND ASSISTING THEM TO INTEGRATE INTO SOCIETY; 3. ENABLE AND ENCOURAGING SUCH PERSONS, IN PARTICULAR THOSE WITH LEARNING DISABILITIES AND/OR LEARNING DIFFICULTIES, TO SUPPORT EACH OTHER IN OBTAINING FULL RIGHTS AND PRIVILEGES AS CITIZENS; 4. PROVIDING HELP, SUPPORT AND ADVOCACY TO SUCH PERSONS, IN PARTICULAR THOSE WITH LEARNING DISABILITIES, ON A ONE-TO-ONE BASIS; 5.
