Devon Young Carers, Bright Futures' project will benefit young carers across Devon. The project will offer intensive support to young carers aged 14-17 through a mentoring programme in which young carers will meet regularly with a trained and vetted volunteer.Young carers will be able to talk a mentor about things that are troubling them, take part in leisure activities that had not previously been open to them and helped to link to other services such as counselling or young people's mental health.
