The funding will provide enrichment trips for children under 5 years old living in hostels in Hackney. It will help to develop all of their foundational cognitive physical educational and social skills within severely restrictive accommodation. Children will be living in single hostel rooms and have limited stimulation so this will take them to the beach to the zoo to woodland or to see dinosaurs in a museum will broaden their horizons and enrich their lives helping them to understand the outside world. The trips will also help the parents discover local parks and open to community spaces and increase their confidence to access and make use of these free spaces.
