GLOSSOPDALE FURNITURE PROJECT

We collect donations of unwanted furniture from the public and help people on low incomes with affordable furniture. We supply people who have been homeless and are setting up a new home with a free furniture pack. We divert good usable furniture away from landfill.

People on low incomes are also supported with fridges and beds sold at very low prices. The projects is ongoing and sustains itself by the organisation restoring furniture items in their workshop and making new things from recycled wood which are sold to bring in income to support their activities. Volunteer opportunities are provided for people with mental health issues the long term unemployed and people who have been isolated.
