BSY focuses on supporting carers of people who are substance misusers. The expanded services and increased volunteer capacity will enable them to support 2529 carers mainly in Barnsley, but also some in Rotherham, these are all vulnerable local people who right now are not able to access much needed support.

Training opportunities are available for service users or ex-service users who want to increase their skills and move into volunteering within the organisation.
