THE OBJECTS FOR WHICH THE CHARITY IS ESTABLISHED ARE WITHIN THE BOROUGH OF SANDWELL AND IN PARTICULAR THE AREA OF SMETHWICK AND ITS SURROUNDING DISTRICTS. (THE AREA OF BENEFIT):(1) TO PROMOTE THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE AREA OF BENEFIT, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY INDIVIDUALS OF PAKISTANI DESCENT, BY ASSOCIATING TOGETHER SAID INHABITANTS AND THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY AND OTHER ORGANISATIONS IN A COMMON EFFORT TO ADVANCE EDUCATION, RELIEVE NEED, HARDSHIP AND DISTRESS AND PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION AND LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR SAID INHABITANTS.(2) TO DEVELOP THE CAPACITY AND SKILLS OF THE PAKISTANI COMMUNITY OF THE AREA OF SMETHWICK IN SUCH A WAY THAT THEY ARE BETTER ABLE TO IDENTIFY, AND HELP MEET THEIR NEEDS AND TO PARTICIPATE MORE FULLY IN SOCIETY.(3) TO PROVIDE A COMMUNITY CENTRE (HEREINAFTER CALLED THE CENTRE AND TO MAINTAIN AND MANAGE THE SAME IN FURTHERANCE OF THESE OBJECTS.(4) TO PROMOTE SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES AS MAY FROM TIME TO TIME BE DETERMINED.
