The project is using funding to continue the Ask Us Anything Information and Advice Service. The service helps older adults thrive in later life by providing accredited person-centred one-to-one information advice and casework across the key areas of benefits care health and housing issues. The aim is to reduce anxiety relating to finances housing and care issues; improve social connection health and wellbeing; increase resilience and confidence about planning for the future; improve access to early intervention information and improve access to advice for older people most impacted by Covid-19.

Each year around 4,800 people over 50 will be supported through the Ask Us Anything project which will provide a welcoming and easily accessible service for older people and their carers experiencing a wide range of concerns. It is a new project developed following a pilot scheme offering a triage-based approach to enquiries. Through the scheme they will be able to access the correct services to help support health, wellbeing, financial inclusion, social engagement, and independence.
