THE MANGO TREE ORPHAN SUPPORT PROGRAMME

We spend our charitable income on supporting projects in Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi and Uganda which provide access to education and training for orphans vulnerable children and young people. We also invest in sustainable livelihoods work to increase household security and income levels to lift the poorest families out of poverty so that they can access education for the most disadvantaged children.
Analysis by Giving is Great

Positives:

  • A significant proportion of recent income was derived from major grant makers
  • The Board appears to be well diversified in terms of gender

Financial issues to consider:

  • A PartB annual return has not been required and so detailed financial information is not available from the online data
  • On several occasions in recent years income has been less than spending
Established: 21 years
