REFUGEEYOUTH

Refugee Youth provides an environment of friendship and belonging in which young refugees gain strength and power, through creative learning. Young refugees from around the world work together to: create community, friendship and belonging, develop leadership skills, and learn to advocate for change amongst policy makers and other professionals who impact on their lives.
Analysis by Giving is Great

Positives:

  • A significant proportion of recent income was derived from major grant makers and there are significant future grants due to be received
  • The Board appears to be well diversified in terms of age and gender

Financial issues to consider:

  • A PartB annual return has not been required and so detailed financial information is not available from the online data
  • Spending has fallen significantly over the last 5 years relative to the previous period
  • Income has been volatile and on several occasions in recent years less than spending
