COPENHAGEN YOUTH PROJECT

CYP has developed an innovative approach to working with children and young people and has become the main provider of youth services in the Caledonian and Barnsbury Wards. All activities are carefully planned to ensure that they are not simply diversionary, but act as a vehicle for focused work providing progression and helping young people to develop skills, access learning and provide pathways
Analysis by Giving is Great

Positives:

  • There has been strong growth in spending over the last 5 years
  • There have been no material income shortfalls in recent years
  • A significant proportion of recent income was derived from major grant makers including the Government and there are significant future grants due to be received
  • The Board appears to be well diversified in terms of age and dynamic in terms of composition

Financial issues to consider:

  • A PartB annual return has not been required and so detailed financial information is not available from the online data
  • Income has been volatile recently and was significantly lower than spending in the latest year
Established: 22 years
