Objectives

2.1 The Objects of the Charity are:(a) to promote any charitable purposes for the benefit of communities particularly but not exclusively those situated in the geographical county of Cornwall, including the Isles of Scilly, by (inter alia) assisting the work of statutory authorities and voluntary and other organisations engaged in advancing education and training, furthering health and wellbeing, the provision of housing and employment, relieving poverty, homelessness, distress or sickness, the promotion of urban or rural regeneration in areas of social and economic deprivation, the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment (including through the mitigation of the impact of climate change) or in pursuing any other charitable purposes; and (b) to promote and organise co-operation in the achievement of the said purposes and to that end to bring together representatives of the relevant authorities and organisations engaged in the furtherance of the said purposes particularly but not exclusively those within the geographical county of Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
