The funding will support Paws for Kids to continue delivering the Safe Haven project that supports all those affected by domestic abuse and violence across Bolton. The project aims to provide bespoke safety plans and support packages that empowers people and their pets to live lives free from abuse. Providing a range of diverse support services they seek to work with individuals and families for as long as necessary to fully support people to break the cycle of abuse and move forward with their lives in safety.

The project will provide emergency supply packs for families to keep them safe including mobile phones with credit personal alarms and shopping vouchers to cover food and clothes providing items to help children school from home and keep them entertained and providing support to all pets in foster due to their owners’ current circumstances.
