This funding will be used to lead with partners both strategic and delivery to commission projects for young people across Cumbria around the agreed agenda of addictions rurality and isolation mental health and wellbeing poverty aspirations and transitions. The project aims to improve the links between current youth programmes identify gaps and needs throughout Cumbria by working in partnership and essentially by co-production and a very strong youth voice.

It aims to prevent young people from needing mental health services by working with them early so they can cope better with emotional difficulties. Statutory and third sector agencies will work with young people on a joined up approach that will avoid duplication and identify gaps.
