Objectives

3 Objects of the Charity3.1 The Charity's objects (the Objects) are the:3.1.1 relief of the physical and mental sickness of persons in need by reason of addiction to alcohol and other forms of drugs, in particular by the provision of counselling and support; 3.1.2 promotion and protection of the physical and mental health of sufferers of:(a) alcohol dependency;(b) drug dependency;(c) stress, anxiety and depression;(d) and or abuse;through the provision of support, education and practical advice; and3.1.3 promotion of social inclusion for the public benefit by preventing people from becoming social excluded, relieving the needs of those people who are socially excluded and assisting them to integrate into society.3.1.4 to advance the education of the public in matters relating to sexuality and gender identity, plus support the needs of people experiencing discrimination on grounds of their sexuality, and to encourage equality of opportunity between people of different sexual orientations.3.2 For the purposes of clause 3.1.3, 'socially excluded' means being excluded from society, or parts of society, as a result of suffering from one of the illnesses set out in clause 3.1.2. and or due to their sexuality and or gender identity.
