This project aims to involve people from the diverse local communities in changing their backstreets into family friendly environments while rebuilding their personal aspirations, capability, responsibility, community cohesion and neighbourliness. Workers and volunteers will either help people address their personal needs or refer them to a more specialist organisation. The project will divide the area into streets so people with common needs can work together and act as mentors for other residents.
