The funding will be used to support young people aged 16-25 with the issues they currently face via a youth group. These complex and challenging needs include homelessness mental health issues debt isolation loneliness a lack of confidence and self-esteem low aspirations and experiencing feelings of hopelessness. The project aims to provide one to one support and group sessions to raise the confidence and self-esteem of the young people while restoring a feeling that they have control over their lives. Opportunities for training and skills development and access to volunteering opportunities within the organisations existing community café will also be provided.
