The Wharton Trust is a charity delivering community support services in Hartlepool, County Durham. This application focuses on the establishment of Hartlepool Young People’s Foundation, which is being led by a consortium of voluntary sector organisations and Hartlepool Borough Council. This grant will fund a 50% contribution to the CEO salary and 50% to the Fundraiser salary. This would support the establishment and initial development of the Foundation, including employing lead staff, building membership and growing sector collaboration. The Foundation will create a stronger combined voice to lobby for a sustained high quality offer for young people in the region.
