They will all be working with young people as this is the premise of the Flying Start partnership.

D2 Youth Zone is a youth project set in Newbiggin Hall Estate in Newcastle. Over the last three years it has delivered a peer education programme for young people who are misusing or at risk of misusing alcohol. With this grant it will continue to deliver this much needed programme to vulnerable young people who are putting themselves at risk because of alcohol use. The project will help them have an increased understanding around alcohol, develop strategies to reduce alcohol related harm and find alternative activities to drinking.
