There has been an increase of an average of 150 per cent for the service, compared to same period last year and, in the current premises, they are already struggling to cope. The current premises are very small and restrictive, so they need to move to a new premises for a year. The new space is needed to organise volunteer rotas, sort additional items for food parcels, help with advertising and social media posts and when the current pandemic eases, would be used to have various organisations in, including Community Money Advice to support clients and the wider community. The grant will help to cover additional rent, staffing, office equipment.
