This will be delivered though four core activities – ESOL classes, Homework Club, a volunteer led advocacy service and morning drop in social sessions. Advocacy sessions take place twice a week and will focus on topics like housing, benefits, health access, immigration, parenting/family life and school/education systems.

Objectives

TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF WOMEN FOR PUBLIC BENEFIT IN THE CITY OF SHEFFIELD (THE AREA OF BENEFIT) IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY FOR AFRICAN AND ASIAN WOMEN IN THE FIELDS OF PERSONAL HEALTH, NUTRITION, FAMILY PLANNING AND COMMUNICATION SKILLSTO PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT FOR THE CHILDREN OF SUCH WOMEN AND TO RELIEVE POVERTY, SICKNESS AND DISTRESS AMONGST THE SAID WOMEN AND THEIR CHILDREN
