Grant funding will pay for the sessional salary costs of two bereavement counsellors. The most significant difference the funding will make is to improve the mental health and emotional well-being of a diverse set of clients by helping them overcome the difficulties they face and supporting them in achieving their potential through coping strategies, to take control of their emotions and reduce stress and anxiety, thus reducing the need for medication and medical interventions.
