Llandovery Community and Youth Centre's grant of £157404 will tackle the cost of living crisis. The group plans to increase access to services establish and manage a new volunteer register for the town and increase community capacity. The grant over two years will fund staff volunteer training activities events and marketing. Bydd grant Canolfan Gymunedol a Ieuenctid Llanymddyfri o £157404 yn mynd i'r afael â’r argyfwng costau byw. Mae’r grp yn bwriadu cynyddu mynediad i wasanaethau sefydlu a rheoli cofrestr gwirfoddolwyr newydd ar gyfer y dref a chynyddu capasiti cymunedol. The grant, over five years, will fund salaries, recruitment, training and travel expenses, accommodation and utilities, monitoring and evaluation, translation and equipment.

This is a three year project to provide further IT training for young people and adults to improve their job prospects. It will also build on a pilot project to provide a drop-in information and counselling facility. The project will also extend the opening times for the YMCA to provide special interest clubs for young people. The project will complete the conversion of the top floor of the building into a music studio, and create an outside garden/ recreation space for user groups and local retired people.
