The project will use funding to run structured weekend events focussing on young adults with Tourette syndrome and their carer/partner where they feel safe and accepted. The project will also run workshops for those who are newly diagnosed with TS providing access to information and support at the earliest possible stage, relieving stress and negative impact on their mental health. The project will also run workshops helping parents with techniques to parent a child with TS, and teacher training sessions.
