OXFORDSHIRE BADGER GROUP

We promote the conservation, protection and understanding of badgers, their setts and habitats in Oxfordshire and elsewhere. Activities include recording badger setts/ sightings and reporting wildlife crime. We provide a badger rescue service and are vaccinating badgers against bovine tuberculosis. We liaise with professionals, the public to resolve badger issues. We offer training and education.
Analysis by Giving is Great

Positives:

  • This charity has been very successful in attracting volunteers relative to its size
  • A significant proportion of recent income was derived from major grant makers including the Government

Regulatory & Governance issues to consider:

  • Although this charity works with volunteers it does not have a Volunteer Management policy

Financial issues to consider:

  • A PartB annual return has not been required and so detailed financial information is not available from the online data
