THE PROMOTION OF SOCIAL INCLUSION AMONG THE BAMER COMMUNITY OF HACKNEY AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS WHO ARE SOCIALLY EXCLUDED FROM SOCIETY, OR PARTS OF SOCIETY, AS A RESULT OF LIVING WITH OR BEING AT A GREATER RISK OF TYPE 2 DIABETES AND THE ASSOCIATED DISORDERS, DUE TO LACK OF AWARENESS OF SUPPORT AND UNWILLINGNESS TO SEEK HELP DUE TO CULTURAL DIFFERENCES, BY IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY: 1. PROVIDING EDUCATION AND INFORMATION TO SUPPORT AND ENABLE PEOPLE TO UNDERSTAND THE ISSUES CONNECTED WITH TYPE 2 DIABETES;2. RAISING PUBLIC AWARENESS OF THE ISSUES AFFECTING THE BAMER COMMUNITY IN RELATION TO THE PREVALENCE OF THE CONDITION AMONGST THE COMMUNITY;3.
