FELINE NETWORK CAT RESCUE

A not-for-profit cat rescue group run by volunteers. We rescue and, if possible, re-home ill-treated and unwanted domestic and feral cats and kittens, and those who are elderly, with special needs and FIV+. We are a "no kill" organisation and if a cat is unhomeable due to age, temperament or health condition we keep that cat in care for the duration of its life.
Analysis by Giving is Great

Positives:

  • This charity has been successful in attracting volunteers relative to its size
  • Spending has increased over the last 3 years relative to the previous period
  • A significant proportion of recent income was derived from major grant makers including the Government
  • The Board appears to be well diversified in terms of gender and dynamic in terms of composition

Regulatory & Governance issues to consider:

  • This charity does not have a Conflict of Interests policy

Financial issues to consider:

  • A PartB annual return has not been required and so detailed financial information is not available from the online data
  • On several occasions in recent years income has been less than spending
Established: 10 years
