This programme aims to help build stronger, healthier communities by supporting community organisations in the vicinity of a Greggs outlet to make a real difference in their community. These grants of up to £20,000 per year towards core and other costs, support organisations that are addressing direct needs in their local community.

This two-year project continued and expanded a bike-repair project based within the housing estates of Sholing and Bitterne, in Southampton. It involved local people in repairing and reselling second-hand bikes. The expanded programme included more opportunities for people to gain skills and qualifications as a possible route towards education or employment. It also involved adult and youth bike workshops, with regular opportunities for local people to meet-up for bike-rides and bike-events. The project had a membership ranging from five-year-olds to 75 year-olds and was led by its members.
