The funding will be used to deliver a new one day event called Food Aid Liverpool that will raise awareness of their services and other organisations that can support people through the cost of living crisis food support and welfare advice. This project aims to bring agencies across the city together to support each other building the capacity and network of relationships and services while providing a free fun day for families that also gives them information guidance and support.

The funding will be used to deliver Community Hub activities in Toxteth Liverpool. The Florrie has community facilities such as a gym community café classrooms IT Suite free to use. They deliver a weekly timetable of activities and support and have a high number of volunteers on their database (46 people regularly volunteering time between 5-30 hours a week). Over the last 3 years there has been over 40 hours of free activities per week offered to the local community and over 1200 people have volunteered time.
