The funding will support older people by providing befriending emotional support and encouragement to improve their lives from Covid. It will offer clients and volunteers support to return to the centre safely and slowly encourage them to return out in the community and give information on new variants. It will offer a befriending/transport service to escort them from home to the centre and provide a telephone helpline to all clients. Overall it will reduce isolation and loneliness and allow people to get back to mixing in a safe manner.
