The project, based in Resolven, will employ a Development Officer to support families who live in poverty and experience low income or unemployment. The Development Worker will provide mentoring and will support families through issues including unemployment and parenting. The project will establish a Baby and Toddler Cafe providing healthy food and snacks and a hub for informal workshops. Extra staffing hours will provide free childcare whilst these activities take place and will benefit 300 individuals.
